Colliers Turf Supplies is a family business. It was established in 1968 by myself and my wife Joy.

We started off cutting turf in the Samford Valley, just outside of Brisbane.

Turf was not cultivated in those days. It was a natural grass which we would purchase from the local dairy farmers.

We started off with a 12 inch Ryan self propelled turf cutter which would cut the turf into 30 mtr strips. The turf then had to be rolled by hand into 2mtr lengths.

Our first turf farm consisted of 12 acres of Turf and since then we have had several farms and have experimented with several varieties of grass. It takes years of experience and hard work to come up with the best product available. We take pride in the knowledge we have gained and are only too pleased to share this with our customers.

In 2002 our son Stephen and his wife Jodie purchased a licence to grow Sir Walter. We are so proud of this new grass that seems to cater for all situations and climates.

Our turf is now palletised and is cut with a Kesmac machine for easier handling and quicker service. If needed we have a Bob Cat to unload in difficult circumstances.
